COVID-19 Disaster Response

At South Tulsa Community House, we were honoured to be visited by the Oklahoma National Guard, who delivered fresh produce from the Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma. During this time of the COVID emergency response, partnerships have helped us to provide food security to our neighbours.

New Pregnancy Nutrition Program

Expecting a child is an exciting and important time in a woman’s life.  It is extremely important for an expectant mother to have proper nutrition as she and her unborn baby grow.  South Tulsa Community House is happy to announce the beginning of our Pregnancy Nutrition Program for the residents in the Riverwood area.

We will provide mom and baby with good, nutritious supplemental food from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM the third Friday of each month, through the entirety of the pregnancy plus two months after the birth.  As participants, moms may receive additional services provided by our in-house partners, as well. This food program is being offered in addition to the regular 30-day serving.

If you would like to join this program, please bring proof of pregnancy to Lisa Chastain, South Tulsa Community House’s Intake Specialist to sign up now.

Coffee Grinders for our Veterans

Did you know that our most requested item from our Veterans is coffee? And while we receive alot of coffee from our partners, most of it is in whole bean form. Thanks to some generous donations, we were able to supply our veterans with coffee grinders so they can now grind their own.

Many thanks to all who donated!
