With help from more than 50 community stakeholders and strategic planner Cynthia Stewart, the Board of Directors adopted our new strategic plan at the July 2018 Board meeting. A new mission and vision statement was also adopted. Over the next three years, we expect to grow our capacity and resources so we can better serve our clients and the Riverwood community. We are especially excited about the development of a new nonprofit organization (Riverwood Collaborative) which will focus to improve the community through economic development, marketing, and other growth strategies.
STCH is proud to announce that Improving Lives Counseling Services has become an in-house partner. ILCS is a private counseling and case management business with multiple offices in the Tulsa area. They will provide Case Managers at STCH on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Fridays. “We are thrilled to have them join our hub of hope!”, said Karen Streeter.
Thanks to a grant from the Oklahoma Bar Foundation, STCH is now able to provide free legal services to our Riverwood neighbors through its partnership with Legal Aid Services of Oklahoma. Renee Faulkenberry will be housed at STCH and offering civil legal services to the community. Her office hours will match STCH’s public hours (Monday – Friday, 9:00 am – 1:00 pm). They can also schedule appointments with Renee at other times.
