Groceries and limited hygiene items are available to our area families in need once every 30 days.
The South Tulsa Community House has partnered with the Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma to provide Senior Servings. It is open to all Tulsa low income seniors aged 60 and over. Senior Servings provides one sack of groceries, twice a month on the first and third Wednesday. Call 918-742-5597 for more information or fill out the form found on the web site. The Veteran’s Grocery Program is now open to all Tulsa low income veterans. The program provides a week of groceries and basic hygiene once a month on the third Thursday. Application is available at:

Free GED Classes
Various opportunities and times are available to complete your education.
Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF) GED classes are held Monday through Friday from 8:30 am until 2:30 pm. Participants must enroll through their Department of Human Services caseworker.
Free evening community GED classes are held Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 5:30 pm until 8:00 pm. Open enrollment is every Tuesday and Thursday evening. Volunteer tutors are available to assist students.
Free Computer Center
The STCH computer center provides free access to 14 computers for use in improving computer skills, applying on line for various programs, searching for jobs and communicating with friends and family from 9:00 am until 1:00 pm Monday through Friday.
Free Copier, Fax and Phone
Need to place a local phone call, make a copy or fax something? The Community House can assist you from 9 am until 1 pm Monday through Thursday. (Local calls, copier and fax 1-3 pages).

South Tulsa Community House staff can help connect you with programs and resources available through other agencies.
Free Job Assistance Program
One on one assistance in job search, filling out on line and off line applications and resume preparation, job search assistance and basic computer skills is available on Tuesday and Fridays from 10 am until noon.
Transportation: Bus Token Program
Tokens are available to clients living in our service area on a limited basis for individuals needing assistance for job interviews, doctor’s appointments and appointments with social service agencies. (Verification of appointment is required)
New Bus Pass to Work Program
Provides a two week bus pass for those finding jobs through our Job Assistance Program.

St. John Medical Clinic/Family Medical Care
Now Open! Entrance is located in the rear of the building on the northwest corner. Emergency Infant Services (EIS)
Se habla espanol. Emergency Infant Services (EIS) will be serving clients with children newborn through five (5) years of age at the South Tulsa Community House location every Thursday (except holidays) from 9:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. EIS will have diapers, wipes, and formula at this location. A picture i.d. is needed for the parent and proof of birth for each child (such as a birth certificate, WIC paperwork, or shot records.)
