A message from our Executive Director

It is with great pleasure that I introduce you to South Tulsa Community House (STCH), an organization that has been serving individuals and families in the 61st and South Peoria area for nearly 30 years. As the Executive Director, I am honored to be a part of a team dedicated to improving the quality of life for those in need.

More From Joan

Our core purpose is to reduce hunger, combat poverty, and provide a pathway to empowerment for our neighbors in need. Our services include food distributions, bus tokens, case management, and various opportunities for personal growth. We believe in a strength-based approach, providing a bridge out of poverty for our participants by providing access to resources, education, and job opportunities.

At STCH, we recognize the vital impact that access to resources has on social and economic outcomes. We have witnessed firsthand the positive changes that can occur when individuals have access to the tools and resources they need to succeed.

As we continue to grow, we remain committed to serving the needs of our community. Annually, we serve over 12,000 individuals, the majority of whom fall below the poverty line. We are proud to be a responsive and supportive resource for those in need.

I invite you to explore the many programs and services offered at STCH. Whether you are looking to volunteer, donate, or simply learn more about our mission, we welcome your participation and feedback. Together, we can make a positive impact in the lives of everyone in our community.

Thank you for your support.

Sincerely,
Joan Calvert
